Cheshire Resilience brings together key public services, emergency responders, health agencies and local authorities to work as one team in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies of all kinds. Our partnership is rooted in the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, which established local resilience forums across the United Kingdom to ensure effective multi-agency coordination during critical incidents.

What we do
Cheshire Resilience is a collaborative partnership known as a Local Resilience Forum (LRF). Within this structure:
• We assess the most significant risks facing local communities, from severe weather and health threats to transport incidents and infrastructure challenges.
• We publish a Community Risk Register that highlights these risks and promotes awareness and preparedness.
• We support residents, businesses and organisations with information about planning, staying informed and learning how to respond before, during and after emergencies.
