What to do if you lose your water supply

Loosing water supply in your home can happen from time to time and is usually caused by a few common factors.

  • Planned repair work

  • Emergency repair work

  • Problems in your home plumbing system

If you find that you have no water or low water pressure you can try a few things:

  • Turn on your cold kitchen tap. If water is coming from here but not from anywhere else in your home, it is likely to be an issue with your internal plumbing system.

  • Make sure your inside stop valve or stopcock is open. You can do this by turning it anti clockwise.

  • Speak to one of your neighbours. If they also have no water or low water pressure it is likely to be an issue with your water company network.
